Hanami
Hanami
"Hanami" is a word for the Japanese tradition of cherry blossom viewing, which happens from March-May across Japan. Our family has been there many times and I feel a strong connection to this beautiful country. This abstract painting in soft greens, glimmers of gold and blushes of pink is reminiscent of a stroll through a misty Japanese garden during cherry blossom season. I've tucked a piece of Japanese rice paper from Kyoto into the layers for an authentic connection to the country that inspired it! This original artwork will bring a sense of quiet elegance to its surroundings.
"Hanami" measures 31 1/2"x 41 1/2" and is framed in a brushed gold, wood float frame, wired and ready to hang. It signed on the back so it can be hung either horizontally or vertically.
