Confidence Boost

Who doesn't love feeling a little boost of confidence? I used a dynamic neutral palette in this painting - creams, grays, black - and infused it with a shot of magenta. There's lots of interesting textured layers and different application techniques here - palette knife, brushwork, bold marks in oil pastel and a glimmer of gold metallic leaf. It was so fun to create and I love the result - a sophisticated neutral painting that suits both modern and traditional spaces equally well - and adds a confident dash of personality!
